as my name states i have that car in a LX-I model. My hood wont pop. Ive tried pulling on the wire. It does nothing. Push on the hood and pull on the wire it does nothing. Pull on the hood while pulling the wire it does nothing. Any other ideas on how to get the hood poped without disasembaling the hood latch?

 

Can you show a pic of the front of the car... so maybe we can "study" a way to get it open?

it's most likely your latch cable is busted, try to pull it with a vice and see if that will help you out.

 

didnt do anything. Called honda dealer and said it would be 286 dollars to get it open and replace the hood locking system....
