on the bottom of the injector there is a plastic piece. if it is cracked then that means that the injector is of no use correct.

the very tip is cracked?

 

it should still be ok, I believe it more of a guard to protect the pintle. If there is any different at all it would be the spray would be affected more by the incoming air affecting it sooner, although I doubt even that would be changed much

also is there anyway to tell the difference between h23 injectors and h22 stock oem injectors. ive heard that the h22 have the green plastic tips and the h23 have the yellow tips...is this so

i think there are 2 blue dots on the OBD I h22 injector, I'm not totally sure on that so you would have to look into it, surely someone else knows
