Default itr chassis stiffener---after tranny?
is this true?
behind the tranny, towards the *** of the car, there is a metal bracket thing that goes right behind the tranny, for more structural rigidity?

My guess is as goods as yours... I would say it would be the rear mount.

You mean this thing (in red).



This is the rear mount. I've replaced the original with the Prothane one.

maybe hes talking about the aluminum (stiffener) girdle that attaches from the bottom of the engine to the bottom of the tranny.
