Default transmission

Im gonna get the turbo kit from AJP for my FG1, and ive heard a lot of people saying that im gonna need to do a lot of other stuff to run it right...Ive heard that i need a stronger transmission because I have an automatic. And that im also gonna need a stronger axle to with stand the hp boost that im gonna receive. Will I need to do any of those things after I install my turbo? Ill just be running 8psi, and hopefully putting down close to 200hp to the ground

Personally i would wait a while until the "test car" has some miles on it
and see if his transmission blows up first

Your only other option right now would be ANOTHER oem tranny ( if it did blow)
and a voided warranty... or worse.. the motor

why run the chance.

i'd suggest you bullet proof your transmission first before you put on a turbo kit,im no car expert but if you just upgrade the torque converter and flex plate,it is not enough imo,you will also need to upgrade your suspension also, and if you want to boost higher, i suggest you find a good performance shop where they could custom make internal parts for you cause they only have internal parts for the si models right now,in the long run its going to cost you a s!@#t load of $$$$,heres a website that upgrades transmissions http://www.levelten.com
