Default new tires and already lumpy?????

i bought the yokohama spec-2's just about a month ago, has about 85% tread

was doing a camber kit when i noticed on the driver side tire, i ran my hands on the inner side and felt lumps, sorta wavey, uneven?

a friend told me that the shock is no good, but i bought new shocks (tokico blues). and have about 10k miles on them..

was it because of the camber?...there is no toe in or out on them, oh and pressure is at 30psi

quick edit: forgot to mention that the tires are nosiy as hell!!!

lumps on the sidewall? thats a tire issue, not a shock or alignment issue.

If there is uneven wear on the tire then it could be alignment or your camber is causing premature wear. Also if its not constant wear on the inside, that its only worn on some parts on the inside of the tire then it could be a bent wheel. I would suggest taking them to a local reputable tire shop and have them look at them, rotate and re-balance them and see what you come up with.

is it like a lump on the tire side wall? if so, these are usually caused by hitting a nasty pothole.

When your tires do that its called Cupping in the Tire Industry. I work at just tires and I get that alot. In any case there can be a few possibilities to your problem, Shocks are blown, usually that would cause bald spots not cupping, Tires are not balanced properly, Bent Rims, Alignment issues, or lastly Defective Tires. Take them back and have them back and have them check balance, and alignment.

no not on the sidewall...its on the inside of the tire, where tires usually wear from camber issues...it has some wear because of camber and also lumpy. so it's my tire?...

Camber is not the big of a deal unless you got some crazy camber, TOE is what causes premature tire wear the most. Go back to the shop and have them check out the balance and if they check the alignment. If anything I could probably help you out with these things if your willing to go to my work. But I only work on the weekends.

You can go to SEARS or somewhere and get LIFE TIME Alignment for like 100 something. Alignments are expensive already as it is, so i think life time would be worth the money if you get a mechanic that knows his ****. So....
100 ish for lifetime or 60-80 for regular depending on the place you go.
