If you wanna stay naturally aspired, I'd do a nice lsvtec build, if you didnt really care, and just wanted something decently quick, I'd turbo it.
You could build an AWESOME turbo set up with that money.
You could also build a really nice lsvtec.

It's really just up to you, and how much power youy want to make

I have the jdm itr swap and am VERY happy with its performance. And theres no major work to put it together, just drop it in and hook everything up

whoops, youre right. I didnt read the whole post. My bad.

But definitely the ls/vtec or b20/vtec would be your best option.
Good luck

Use some of that money towards HPDE's. Then once you've become somewhat masterful at driving, then build your engine.

I would have to say ls/vtec don't quote me on this but i think that the N/A torque is much greater and the hp will be about the same. Im pretty sure the ls has a longer stroke, giving it more torque. correct me if im wrong.

to hit 13s u dont need a fully built lsv or b20v and turbo sounds good but u would be happy with a open type r that should get u where u want to go

It took me the past 7 years to figure this out..... if you really want to spend 4,500 on your car, then go for it...just know that it'll only go so far and its a poor investment. BUT, if I had an extra 4500 sittin around to **** away on my car and it was an LS, I would build it for a big turbo set up!

I was going to give my input then i read this , I got 10 bucks says his car has some amber corners some ebay lip kit and is slammed on some rotas . With a detchable steering wheel and a some recaro knock off racing seats .

And now Im going to give my input anyways ......

Boost you ***** , a B18C in an integra chassis will run high 14's maybe mid if your lucky . And to get low 13's you'd have to do some pretty major work if you wanted to stay N/A . Sounds like a waste of time and money to me .
