Yes I went through all 20+ pages of the Official PY thread (for the 10th time) specifically looking for red seats, I found a few. but not any great shots to show the seats contrasting w/ the color of the car

My local shop just got in 2sets of JDM DC2 Recaro's One Red, one Black.

I've always wanted Red, but picturing the contrast of the red seats on the yellow car in my head bugged me.

I need some imagery assistance!! Open up your photo library please! I need input before I make my decision!

Well the shop I am buying it from is making me buy the rears with it - and I already have the rears, I'm thinking about taking it to a fabric shop and having them just go at it and try to make em red, worst case is I lost a set of JDM rears that I already had, ya know?

 

if i had a good shop around were i live i would get it done myself but theres nothing. and you can always buy the jd,m seats again

i have a set of a very limited canadian red itr seats.(fronts & rears)
these seats are near perfect. i bought the rears brand new from acura burrard just 2 months ago. and the fronts i bought locally from a H-T member. the fronts are a 9.5 out of 10 and the rears are 10 out of 10. im looking to get about $2800 obo comes with red sparco suede sparco steering wheel with hug for eg/dc2

WILL NOT SEPARAET THE SEATS from the steering wheel

 

Awesome setup OsNApArAvEr but the Canadian fronts never really did it for me. The only way I can justify blowing over 1k on seats is if they have some sort of function over the USDM seats (IE. Recaro's) - I'll buy the rears off ya tho ^_^

 

yea i like the rear cdn seats but they are so hard to come by these days

it's a rare steering wheel, even more so if you have the pad. look in the a/c forum in the mugen thread and i'm sure you'll see plenty of them.

Ooohh, nice

I've got the JDM ITR non SRS steering wheel, I love it.

 

The black seats are more neutral and clean looking. I'm not digging the contrast between the PY and red seats

 

I'd stay with black, not much of a fan of the ronald mcdonald theme

JDM Recaro and Recaro SRD are 2 different seats.

 

What 2 Fabrics do they use on the JDM Recaro Red Seats

Exact same fabrics as the North American seats.

 

all i need are

jdm rear seats
jdm recaro's

2951 &lt;--- thats the yellow fabric they used on the yellow seats

and my dads friend to upholster them.


custom yellow w/ black stich front/back seats

does it scream steal me ?
