I got a 97 integ lst and I changed the ecu to obd1 and its chipped with crome. A guy on here told me his tuner told him "my tuner told me that the obd1 ecu did not control the evap so just unplug the sensor.

i told you, its on top of your intake manifold. there is a black plug, unplug it start your car. it won't hurt anything

this is a pic of my intake mani i'm selling. on yours there should be a plug.

 

that seemed to help. While the car was running i plugged it back in and it like fugged up again so i left it unplugged. But now its not idling up and down, but just idling high... damnn

 

now adjust your idle via the idle screw
