how hard is it and what would i gain from it or possably blow up from it. im not a mechanic by far, but want to do the work myself, ill have a haynes manual, but the car will be on all 4s cuz i dont have access to a lift any advise would be nice

ive been thinking about that, but i need to know what i need parts wise before i completely destroy my only ride. i never cared about it being fast, but now that i got enough mileage out of the motor im willing to put a little money in it and see what itl do. i dont want a race car, just something that wont lag goin up a hill

 

A z6 would be fine for what you want. There is a how-to on here to pull the motor out from under the car which is usually a better way....search
