No it will not be too close to you. This is just like using a NRG short hub with v2.0 Quick Release.

No it will not. This will work with any aftermarket steering wheel, such as Momo, Sparco, Nardi, Personal, NRG, Etc...

Still won't fit, you need a 6 hole steering wheel.
