i'm planning to get mid sleeves w/ 89mm bore. anyone know which head gasket do i use or do i just use oems? i'm also going to port my head. which gasket do i use for my IM?

 

i'm pretty sure someone in here should know?

 

get a bigger gasket for the block and port the intake manifold gasket to fit.

btw cometic makes bigger gaskets as well as thicker ones too. talk to whoever is doing the machine work and see what they recommend.

You can either go with an OEM Bored out HG, which we prefer and do most of the time.
Or
Cometic has different bore sizes available. Plan in advance because sometimes they have to put those uncommon bore sizes together and are not ready made.

We do both OEM Bored and Cometic gaskets.
