I am experiencing some trouble with my door locks and could use a little help.

It started about a week ago.

The car locks with the alarm remote/fob, but the remote will not unlock the doors. However, I can lock and unlock both doors from the driver's side switch inside the car. The passenger side switch will not operate the door locks at all. I was thinking it could be just the passenger side switch, but would this affect it such that both doors would not unlock with the remote?
