sound like your valves need to be adjusted.....my ls/vtec sound the same..

Agreed on the valves. You can start small and try some different oil but probably a valve adjustment would do the trick. If you search for valve adjustment it'll be all over H-T.

in my DSM it was lifter tick, nothing to be afraid of just swatched in 3rd gen lifters.

oil won't do ****. just get your valves adjusted. mine did the same thing and after a valve adjustment everything was fine.
