quick question...b16 or b18
ok im thinking of building an ek hatch.....im thinking on going turbo on it but my question is wat engine should i get out of the ones out there.....b16,b18,h22,b20, ls vtec or wat....i want one that is gonna make my car quick but is also affordable...im thinking around 300whp 
o and its gonna b a daily driver so yea....i dunno

The B16 could probably reach 300whp on stock internals.
I'd opt for the LS to turbo because of your goals and:
A) It's cheaper than the B16 (you could probably find an LS for like 300)
B) if you throw a rod - it's not all bad due to the cheapness
Though I'm not sure what the internals on the LS block are good for - somebody else can tell you there.
In the meantime, SEARCH, this has been covered 25 billion times!!
