Default civic oil leak

I had my oil pan replaced about four months ago because of a previous leak with the old one. Well i woke up this morning with oil all over my driveway. Could the cold have caused the leak? it has been about -10 below the past few days. it looks like it just started leaking couple days ago judging by the oil stains. By the way the car is a 1997 civic hx.

Check underneath the car to find out exactly where leak is coming from.

My car has been out in weather like that after I replaced my oil pan gasket and it didn't leak. Did you get an oil change recently at a Quicky Lube? Maybe the oil change technician" didn't tighten the drain plug properly or didn't replace the plug washer or didn't tighten down the oil filter.

Maybe the oil pan wasn't torqued down evenly or to spec.

i had the oil changed about two months ago at a mazda dealership. it looks like there is no washer there though.
but if there is no washer wouldn't it have started to leak from day 1 after i had the oild changed? but it definately looks like it is from the bolt area.

i was just reading up on this trying to figure out what my leak could be
someone mentioned the o-ring for the oil cooler crapping out when it gets cold
part number 91316-PT6-003

https://honda-tech.com/zero...otify

i get a few drips after i park my car,
over the summer im planning on repalcing the pan gasket and this o-ring

Some people don't mind paying the extra $10 to not have to lie under the car when it's -10 outside. In the summer I don't mind changing my oil myself but right now it's -40*C here and there is no way in hell I'll be changing my own oil.

i wasn't trying to be an asshat, it was only a suggestion. I do have to agree that working on a car when its cold out sucks.
