Default blown piston for stock 94 LS motor

sum1 sold me a LS motor for 300 bucks transmission and all 65k miles but 1 piston was blown....do u think i can replace that 1 piston or do u think theres more problems internally??? let me know i need HELP!!!

you can replace that one piston and change all the rings, but you're better off changing all your rod bearings at the same time and just rebuild the bottom end if you have $.

well its my girlfriends car shes juss want a tegra and i got that motor for cheap as shyt so u think i should replace the bearings on all and replace that one piston? how much u think that job would be?

what happened to the engine exactly? if the piston is "blown" as you say there's a good chance the cylinder walls have been scratched up. requiring an overbore/hone.

Just what I was about to say. There might be damage to the wall which would need to be overbored/honed like doood said, or even resleeved if it really messed it up good (which you probably wouldn't want to do for the price and since it's I'm assuming just a daily driver for your girlfriend).
