Default Shift linkage...

I just put a single cam turbo in my eg and i put in the shift linkage correct but it feels really sloppy and i cant fin reverse or 5th gear i didnt have the spring pin that connects the shift linkage to the tranny so i found a pin in my garage that looked like it would work and i cut iit to the right length could that have anything to do w/ it. cuz some one told me that you have to like tap the spring pin in... it fits tight? is that true? need some help... thanks.

you may want to recheck all the bolt and make sure they are tight. also make sure that you have all the bushings in. what shift linkage are you useing

Eg Shitft linkage.... its a 92 singlecam in a 93 hatch.

the bushing on the bottom of the shifter or the bushing on the tranny could be bad.

the swivle peice that goes on to the tranny that the spring pin goes thru and the clip goes over... i is that suppost to twist on the nipple stickin out of the trammy or is that just suppost to move foward and back.

The clip & spring pin should keep it tight. What do you mean "moving forward and back?"

If may be play in the shift pin from not having the right one, get one from a totaled Honda, they're easy to find & remove (one for your car, not a regular pin from ur garage) and see how it fits then.

the pin goes thru the shift rod end and the nipple sticken out of the tranny and when you **** it pulls and pushes thatt nipple in and out... but is it suppost to swivle and rotate on the nipple?
