I am getting mislead here...can I or can I not use my si harnes on a dx????I have no harness for the dx but its a mpfi motor in it...just need to do wiring and its done...

 

no u CANNOT use the harness. for one the wires in the plugs will not line up. and the si harness has an extra 7 wire plug if i remember right as well as additional wires that lead to the resistor box, injector plugs, dizzy. u either have to re-do ur harness into an mpfi or buy a complete si harness, underdash, and harness where the ecu plugs into the harness if u want to make ur si engine harness work. i have the harness u were lookin for but u never got back to me whether u still wanted it or not. LMK

 

to make that si harness plug and play you'll need a complete si body harness from tailights to the dash,,go ahead and do it if you have the time and patience.

or you can buy a stock dx harness for probaby dirt cheap and then convert to mpfi

 

thanks speaker for copnfirming with me I just buy a dx harness...but buy looking at the harness on car there any way I can tell if it is dx or hf/si harness cause owner before was wierd and said its wiredhf but vin comes up as dx
