Well if i have it just sitting there after ive been driving for a while then its goes REALLY low...enough to make the car kinda vibrate hard. Or it mights stay just below 1k and then i press the brake in and it goes down...release..goes up. If i have my headlights on it wont surge at all but if i dont it goes up and down about once every 10 minutes or so. Does anyone know whats up? Does my TPS sesnor need cleaning or what? Kinda noob question but its my only problem with my new 92vx hatch and i want to fix it.
Just got off a never ending problem CRX.

 

Have you cleaned your IACV ? A dirty one causes fluctuating idles.
I had that problem on my del sol, but I cleaned my old *** dirty IACV and it was fine again. Idles, perfectly.

Also check your vacuum lines, check your oil, idle screw, and FITV.
Learned that from reading other unstable idle threads

 

the alternator doesn make enough power, also when you turn you steering wheel the idle should go up and down, this is nothing to get concerned about

 

i'll clean the sensor out..but as long as it doesnt get worse i can deal with ti..thanks
