I just got me a JDM B16 first gen... I need to get some stock parts for it like a oil pan gasket and a rear main seal... what did this motor originally come out of?

 

Just order parts like that for a 1999-2000 civic si! It originally came from a sir crx!

but isnt the 1999 -00 civic a 2nd gen b16? are the parts compatable

Everything is the same, you can swap anything between either motor.

 

The only main difference is the distributors according to their OBD series. Otherwise everything is interchangeable.

 

1st gen b16a came from either the ef civic/crx sir's or the 90-91 integras..

but yeah for the parts you want use 99 civic si
