Damn!!! Elevation sucks!!! First time @ a track....ran a 15.222. Here are the details:

I'm guessing my 60 foot time could have been better...but I'm also running my 13'' stock VX rims w/ goodyear intrepids. I'm sure those didn't help. I was expecting a lil better time...but funny thing was other hybrids were doing 15.8s...and some CRX w/b16 i ran against did a 15.9. BTW, my setup is a 92 hatch, gsr swap, intake and shitty exhaust. I have a video of the race between me and the crx..but no server to post on. What do you guys think? I'm just a shitty driver?

Kinda weak, but not horrible. Those tires didn't help im sure and neither did the elevation.

When I got my GSR motor installed in my hatch with stock civic cat, exhaust, etc, and an crushed LS header, i ran 14.70 @ 94 on 16's...but I was at sea level pretty much.. After i/e/h and a skunk2 intake manifold I went down to a 13.9@99mph which was a huge difference especially on the street. You'd probably do better at sea level though.

 

back in the day, I mean way back in the day....

my buddy had a 91SI with a gude CAM (sohc) headers exhaust and all that basic stuff they had back in the day...he was a killer at the street races, beating vr6 corrados, integras w/ nos....

his car ran a 14.9 best ever, but really low 15's all day. He actually one the first or second battle of the imports at palmdale running a high 15.

maybe your car isnt tuned right for the altitude.

our eg drag hatch does 12.7 best and 12.8 all day on a STOCK gsr motor. lightweight is the key there.
