I'm just wondering if sohc vtec solenoids are interchangable with b-series, the reason i'm asking is cause i just picked up a GSR/B16 setup. The block is relatively complete but the previous owner piked the head clean. Then in my driveway i have sohc vtech turbo setups just lying around and i figure i pick those apart for what there worth before i go running to honda for everything that i need. thanks in advance.

well i guess i'll just sell the singles and buy everything fresh from the dealer, thanks i only asked cause today's sunday and all the parts places were closed so i couldn't compare part#'s. but thanks anyway, esp for the quick response

 

Yes D16z6 solenoid with work with B-Series. I have a D-series solenoid in my hatch with B16a. I works fine but you need to entend your pressure switch wire since the D-series pressure switch mounts on a different side
