Will cam gears help?

Will cam gears help?
I have a GSR and I'm getting ready to change the timing belt and water pump, and some do some other maintance stuff. The car has I/H/E already on it. If I get some skunk2/AEM cam gears, and get it tuned, will the gears really make that much of a difference if any at all?, or should I put the money into something else?

Theyre just for making tuning easier.. They dont do anything to help with power.
