What kinda horsepower #'s am I looking at ??
Currantly right now, I have a 94 EG6 with a B18C1 ( OBD2 ) motor in it. Im looking into building a JDM B20B with a type-R head and intake manifold. I have both the motor and type-R hardware. Any suggestions on hp #'s would be helpful. I should have this done by the middle of next month hopefully.
Another question, has anybody gotten their car refereed with a OBD1 wire harness with a OBD2 motor in it ( i.e. my 94 civic with the 96 B18C1 (OBD2)) ?? What do they look for and what should I do to prepare my car for the dreaded smog test. Im scheduled for Wednesday. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone.

You're gonna need an OBDII ECU. They're gonna plug in the diagnostic port and read all your ECU readings. You're gonna need everything emissions wise for that motor. I'm in the process myself. I went in with a 01 B18C5 in my 92 hatch, they looked at it for two minutes and told me not to come back unless I had EVERY OBDII sensor hooked up.
Wow, you have nearly the same setup as I do. I have a JDM B18c5 in my 94 hatch. I didn't know of anyone else on the board that lives in San Jose with the same setup
