1991 accord problems starting
try releasing the key out of the crank position slowly.
This is a common symptom of an ignition switch going bad. Sometimes you can hold the key in just the right place to be able to drive the car into your stall.

no, it is actually a PROBLEM with the car. ive had several different people look at it, try to fix it. and we cant come up with a actually solution. we changed all the spark plugs, weve tried to jump start it and it worked for a day, then the rpms and speed controls went all crazy, so there is something else wrong.
If you have spark, why change the plugs? Sounds like ignition switch to me. Don't know if the VSS(speed sensor) would cause these symptoms. Here's a link to some troubleshooting. Good luck

If it's not the electrical part of the ignition switch, which it sounds like it is, then check out the two idle control air valves, starting with the cold idle thermo valve.
