I currently have a 2005 accord ex mt and I also have a 2006 civic ex AT. I cannot decide if I should turbo the accord, or upgrade to a civic si sedan. any suggestions on what will be more cost effective for power? or other simple mods to get the accord to handle a little more like the civic si sedan..?

 

well you'd probably have to swap trannys out in the civic and then get the turbo kit.

or you could just get the turbo kit for the accord.

 

I wouldnt turbo the civic I have now, I'd just get a new civic si seda and leave it NA for a while.

 

ohh i see. well how much would it cost you for a trade in or to buy it?

 

maybe like 17~ish for trade in so maybe it'll take 4 grand to get the sedan?

 

hm. well then youd have MT and an SI.

It'd probably be like $3000ish to turbo the accord, but then you have to have extra money for anything that breaks, and it might not be reliable.

whats the mileage on the accord and what would it be on the SI

 

25,000 on the accord , and the si would probably be new, or atleast under 20,000 miles on it.

besides you get a brand new car

but i think theres alot more aftermarket for the civic than the accord

 

but you could also just throw the I/H/E on the accord and probably get some power gains from that.

and you could lower it and get better suspension and it will handle better.

 

do you have any clue what gains I might get with just a racing header? I tried to find some specs but I had no luck on just a header.

 

keep the accord, trade in the civic for the Si sedan, and if your a baller, the mugen Si sedan

i cant seem to find any accord turbo kits.. i have the 2004 k24a4 automatic (please don't laugh) and all i can find are kits for the older accords.. any help on that?
