turbo k24a4 accord or civic si sedan
I currently have a 2005 accord ex mt and I also have a 2006 civic ex AT. I cannot decide if I should turbo the accord, or upgrade to a civic si sedan. any suggestions on what will be more cost effective for power? or other simple mods to get the accord to handle a little more like the civic si sedan..?
Turbo the accord, an SI would have nothing on that. That is.. if you're looking for raw power.
I used to own an 05 MT Accord coupe.. and from the numerous test drives I've taken in the SI, it's a lot more fun to drive, at the cost of some power.

what about an a2 head swap onto the accord and then maybe boost on that motor in a year or two? I dont know how much more it would cost to turbo the accord with the different head on it, would i be able to kpro it?

Everyone is saying turbo the accord, etc. No company has made a kit for the k24s yet, nor is their anything besides a full standalone one could use for any type of fuel managment. These ECUs have not been cracked yet. Hondata, crome, uberdata are not compatible thus far....
There IS a kit out for the k24 accords, and its by RacingTechnologyCo and they posted up its dyno results on HT. It cost 4k. However, the tuning platform is crap, using Greddy E-Manage which is far inferior to kpro. Although Hondata and all the other tuning companies have not cracked the ECU, a guy on here (cstyleaccord) has made a custom harness that works using a 02-04 RSX PRB ECU as a piggyback. So, there are options, you could also build yourself a kit, because any k-series manifold will work on the k24, such as civic si, rsx-s, etc.
Hope this helps

the civic ex i have at the moment is a coupe, atomic blue, and looks spectacular. but if I were to 'do it again' four doors would probably be the smarter path.
