I just took the the S2000 for a quick drive around downtown Chicago. The car has been in storage since Nov. 20 th. I almost forgot how fun it is to drive! I didn't really push it too much since there is still alot of salt on the roads. I can't wait to open it up when Spring comes around. For the record it was about 5 below with the windchill. You guys that live out West have it made.
dont feel so bad.....im all the way in ft.campbell ky and i dont mix my s2k with the weather up here, i left mine in fl sleeping till winter leaves then back home again when the winter comes.....hey i dont mind, i bought a mountain bike to get me around......

Yeah...it's going to be -30 with windchill on monday morning. When i have to park and then walk to class. I have a GSR to mob daily, so it keeps me entertained. The S2000 is safe in a garage and nestled up. lol im so gay for saying that. I resist temptation every day to drive it. I just got my factory lip..and ordered some advans for it..and when they come in, its going to be insane not to be able to drive it. I wont drive it till the salt is completely off the roads. I dont want any dry salt getting all over it either. Its never been driven in the winter..and the old man that owned it before me never really drove it in the rain either. I drive it in the rain...but i wont f$#k with salt. Cant wait till spring/summertime
i took the S out today for a little bit....there wasnt much salt at all on the main roads. i cant wait for summer time but i never get tired of driving my element..i love that ugly box on wheels

Heard it's getting worse. CNN says sub-zero temps with windchill factor of 30-40 degrees at Chicago O'hare.

I'm in Montreal, and its damn cold the past couple days. I must admit its been a late and mild winter, but the only thing that is holding me back on nice days is the fact that it is not insured over the winter for road use, and only for theft and fire... Thank god or else I would be even more tempted, lol
