No fuel filter on 6th Gen ??
There's a screen around the pump. Otherwise there is no serviceable filter. I don't know why Honda decided to change that, but it doesn't bother me. My car is nearing 200,000 miles with zero fuel issues. Besides, it's one less maintenance item to worry about.

My '98 has a bracket & some fittings on the firewall, right where a filter would go. I wouldn't be surprised if Honda installs filters there in cars destined for other parts of the world.
