Default TD-01U???????????

i am doing a mpfi swap on my ef hatch..... I have everything i need.... the only thing i dont know about is the dizzy? I have read that its best to use a TD-02U dizzy. But i have a TD-01U dizzy laying around. Will it work? please help need all i can get

No it won't work, that is the DPFI distributor.

But if the code is TD-01U, that makes it a DPFI distributor.

i dont sse anywhere in you application guide where it says it is a dpfi dizzy. it came out of a running mpfi motor. i dont know if it were an obd1 or 0 motor though cant remember???

and i fininshed talking with a guy that has a crx si with a td01u dizzy??? is that right

The TD-01U cross references for the 1.5L Civics, and there were no MPFI 1.5 engines in the Civic family, only the CRX. The OBD-0 distributor codes for MPFI are TD02U and TD18U.

ok i have a td18u dizzy too. will that one work with the mfpi swap???
