Default 5th gen prelude gas mileage

I've got a 2000 Honda Prelude and i average around 350-400 KM's (not miles) per tank and th ats after i've gotten my tuneup (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter).

now its only a 2.2 and i know i can get better gas mileage from that.. i dont really rip especially now in the winter.. so i guess you could say i may engage vtec once or twice a tank..

anyone know what might be the problem?

Well I'm from Toronto...I drive a 5th gen 2000 too... but my gas milage isn't that bad, I mean it has been realy cold lately here and you would know that assuming you're from Oakvillee so that will bring your milage down, and especialy if you tend to use v-tec from time to time.

You should still be getting atleast 550km per tank. Try to keep it under 3k RPMs and see how it goes.

Edit: in the summer I get 700+ per tank. 60L.
