Default Oil Pressure Sender Ground??

Hey guys i just installed an oil pressure gauge and oil pressure sender in my integra. the oil pressure sender did not come with a wire on it for a ground but aparently supposed to be grounded when hooked up. so i have the oil pressure sender hooked up to a brass fitting on an aluminum oil sandwich plate on the back of the block. the problem is that its not reading right. so does this mean that its not grounding out right? how do i go about adding a wire from it for a ground? or can i get another oil pressure sender with a wire already pre-attached for a ground? thanks guys.
