the long black thing on the left isn't going all the back in so I can't get the hub straight to put the coilover back in

it should slide back in try n twist it as u put it in, also check for the little c-clip at the end, im assuming from the pic this is ur driver side axle/shaft. and it goes straight into the tranny?

basically, or so it seems, appearently not that easy since he says it wont go back in. give it a little loving and some lube just like a 18y/o girlie

take your suspension knuckle where the two big bolts go through and slam it towards the trans.make sure the axle is in the trans a little before you do.if that doesnt work free the ball joints grab the whole hub and slam it in!Hook me up some free parts when your finished.

me either, no probs taking off of putting back on at all, but i did have problem breaking some before but then again ive never worked on a fit either. can the OP be more specific? like does it go in at all? if it does try tapping it with a rubber mallet, making sure its not in gear, did u drain ur tranny oil? hmm i would help u out for free but im far as expletive.

hey guys,

I can get it in partially because i can tell when i turn the rotor the other wheel moves. it's the driver's side axle i guess. I found a international service manual online and it was called a driveshaft.

I was afraid to unbolt more stuff because i can imagine things even being worse.

i'm gonna try to slam the ****. it's just sucks ***** right now. the car is 1 month old.

Did you guys pull the axle out or something?... You guys might have pulled out the bearings inside the boot out of place.. in that case you'll have to open up the boot and realighn it
