charcoal canister removal help!!

charcoal canister removal help!!
on a GS_r what do i do with the open tubes when you take out the canister i know one of them is the vent for the gas tank now what do i do with the other one connect them together or cap them????????

plug tb evap hose, take out evap solenoid and plugs its vaccuum source. vent the line that goes to the tank to outside of the car
