Default sputtering problem (mpfi swap)

i just finished up my mpfi swap..got it to run and start..but the problem is that it sputters and alot of black smoke from the tail pipe..i searched but fom those past topics most said it was cuz of timing..but the car has lately gotten a new timing belt and was running perfectly..plz help..beginner at motors

maybe..but the cars also throwing a code 3 and 5

codes 3 and 5 are both Map Sensor codes !
Did you get the wires backwards ?

to my knowledge the map sensors are mounted on the firewall..if there are i didnt touch them at all..does any body have a pic of the hose routing for the map sensor?
