Door getting WORSE
this may be insignificant compared to most of the issues on this site but...
i got a 5th gen 4dr EX and the drivers side door is getting harder and harder to open. It isnt a problem with the door handles...I think somehow the part that connects the door to the rest of the car must be getting off track or bending or something.
thanks in advance.

exactly because by what you saying theres no way to help you....not enough info

Yeah, mine was never really that hard to open but noisy. If you spray some wd40 into the sliding pieces in the middle of the door it might work. The bolts that swing aren't as important, but the piece that actually slides is. Also it isn't to difficult to remove the door so if the wd40 doesn't solve it, take it off and analyze.
sorry for the lack of clairty. basically, i lift up on the hande and have to shove it (from the inside) and it feels like it almost drops down a fraction of an inch (as if one of the brackets is bent down or something. im having trouble putting it in words but basically the handles are NOT the problem. If there is a screw or bolt or bracket i can tighten to adjust the doors pathway i think that would fix it. I dont think its a lack of lubricant problem as once i shove the door out it swings open fine

two thoughts: 1) check the bolts on the actual hinges, there should be two, one top, one bottom, where the door is connected to the body. 2) check the placement of the latch, on the side where the door opens there is a square U shaped metal piece that the door latches on, there are two large phillips screws that hold it in. You can loosen the screws and adjust the latch in and out a bit to see if that improves things.

Or lower it a little bit, I run a pencil around it before getting it loose so you can tell how far it has been moved and which direction.
