You're not going to find many (if any) type r parts for an em2. Frist, there was never a em2 (only sedans) produced in Japan. Second the type r in this generation was the ep3 so basicly nothing from the k20 is going to bolt up to a d17.

Header's fit a block, not a chassis. and since we have a d17 block, and REAL Ep3 CTR's have a k20a, no it wont work.

Yes u can find the header, but for the price, id rather go RMF, or SMPF(?).

What? haha. I really don't understand how that pertains to my post. You pretty much said the same thing I did.

TO end this thread before it gets started, there is no d17 header that will provide sufficient gains.

If u want 1, get the cheapest possible, becuase its going to do as much ( or as little) as the most expensive d17 header.

It would behoove you to do a little research on the subject before you ask a question like this.

The only items the USDM 01-05 Civic sedan/coupe shares with the EP3-R or RSX-R is the bare chassis. That's it. So in order to make anything "Type R" work on your car, outside of emblems, is to start swapping mechanicals around--like the motor/tranny, suspension, seats, etc.

Honestly guys, am I the only one who thinks this guy is a total idiot?

Spending almost 2,000 in transmission/clutch repairs, asking for a 4 piston caliper for the Civic, wanting to cheap out on NUMEROUS parts, and now asking if the EM2 was ever made in a Type R trim.

Wow.
