How many of you got your injectors cleaned, balanced, tested?
I'm wondering what the demand for this service is...same one that rc engineering does for like $100. The reason I ask is because I have access to the machine that does this, and I might be able to get excellent pricing for the service...I don't know, 40-50 bucks or something for 4 injectors. I know lots of people are using older DSM 450cc injectors which probably need to be cleaned. Let me know if you guys think there is much demand for it and I could try to set it up.
Thanks

I just sent my DSM 450cc's to Cruzin Performance to get cleaned, etc. The total came to $50.11 with return shipping...way cheaper than RC if you asked me.
I just got my 450's cleaned, balanced, measured, etc at RC. It is nice they come with a sheet showing the before and after results.
I think I paid 138 for the cleaning and injector clips.

i have DSM 450's as well and had them balanced, blueprinted, cleaned and flow matched for $77.33!
the injectors came out to 46.5 lb/hr injectors or 488cc!! pretty cool for 80 bucks huh!

same quality as RC?
same quality as RC?
I hope so...I guess I will find out once I get my injectors back. I think someone on this board mentioned them to me.

I can't imagine the quality is any different. The machine used costs $10,000 and you basically just plug the injectors into it and it does all the cleaning and testing for you. You just have to maintain the machine and check the results. The machine that I can use is virtually the same one that RC has on their website. Thats why I am sure I can get prices around $45 shipped back as long as their would be enough people that would be interested in the service. I Just have to convince the shop's owner, which is basically done.

The sets of dsm 450s i've cleaned have seen good results. Once they are cleaned and balanced the spray patterns are much better and they all flow close to equal the same amounts. Before cleaning the flow rates were inconsistant, and spray patterns were not clean. I will try to get some numbers soon, probably in a week or so. For a lot of guys here I would think that spending 40-50 bucks would be excellent piece of mind, since so much money has already gone into your cars.
Here are my DSM injectors before and after cleaning. These apparently had only 40k on them, too. I think it's a good idea to have it done.
