LS/Vtec question

I just finished my LS vtec conversion, runs good. im a noob to fwd here so, i took it out for a test drive, and it feels kind of sluggish, im thinking when she hits vtec shes gonna spin the tires first and second, (shitty tires) but it felt kind of sluggish, now i got a b18 head with ferra valve springs, and one hell of a port job on this head, but bogs down and the vtec crossover is barely noticable, but vtec is working, its throwing code 22, (i dunno which that is, cant find a list) any ideas are appriciated thanks

22 i think is vtec pressure valve according to my code chart

Yeah code 22 is a VTEC malfunction. (vtec solenoid valve, open or short in vtec solenoid valve circuit or pressure switch circuit, vtec pressure switch, or ecm). Other than checking all of that, has it been tuned?

lol. it's not a turbo.

get the CEL fixed. have it tuned. be happy.
