First off what do you want to do with the car? Is this a daily or a toy?

Ummmm........ what would the stage 3 clutch be needed for? You say you have a 1.5L in your sig. I say if you're getting a clutch for a DD that is slightly modded, get an Exedy Stage 1 at most, or just stay OEM.

I say inspect your motor very thoroughly to see if there's any maintenance issue that need to be cleared up. I generally follow this priority list:

1) Mechanical Soundness 2) Body/Paint 3) Accesories/Interior

Just my $0.02

Well the reason I asked is for the exact reason of what wiZCo stated about why get a stage 3 you just need OEM or Stage 1.

If you have $800 for a tax return the best thing you can do for performance is do all maint. and tune up. That is the best thing you can do. Fix all leaks, any seals, brakes, etc....

RO = Registered owner...you have to decide what you need, not what HT thinks. Do <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by wiZCo &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">

</TD></TR></TABLE>
Maintence first...make sure its in good shape, because why just get a clutch on a 1.5 when you can spend this money for purposes that help to counter the events that may leave your car inoperable. Save yourr money for times like this since this is your one car. I save like 250 all the time just in case my car "like you only have one" is inoperable...Just trying to say keep your car well maintained and go with your own style, its your car unless again you want HT to be your RO... and thats just my 2 cents "hahaha Wizco"

yea dont get a stage 3 clutch, thats overkill. I got a complete exedy clutch kit from ebay, its there oem version. Only paid about $90.
After that, if everything is okay on the car, invest in some suspension, a good spring and shock combo.

in that case...swap to d16, or multi point on your 1.5 and start to buy parts to boost it...

To be honest with you put it in the bank and save it for something you actually need if your car is 100% up to snuff. That is the best advice I can give.

Belts? Pumps? Seals? Gaskets? Brakes? Tires? Bearings? Bushings? Fluids? Hoses? Lines? Springs? Shocks?

I have a set of these for track rims and they look great on the car. Maybe someday I can get the real deals...Panasport FTW!

As I was reading this thread I was pondering on what you could buy with 800 bucks that would would be sweet. But once I read this post that type of thinking stoped. CRX Toad is right. I need to do the same thing and Ive neglected to do it for so long. Im sick and tired of the leaks and all the small things. You get in the frame of mind that when you have money you need to buy a part to make it faster or look better. But the very very best thing you could do is fix all the small things that annoy you. It sucks because your not making your car faster or anything. But if you do that you will love your car so much more! I get so pissed at my car when it has all those little problems, but if I just spent a little time and money on fixing all those small things I think I would enjoy my car 100 times more. And please listen to crx toad, that is the best advice you will get for what to spend your money on.

light wheels would work just as well as a new flywheel.

When I first seen this post i thought it needed to be in GDD. I am sure someone has already done this thread 1032941023948 times in there. But if you want my honest op then these guys are right. Tune up tune up tune up. Fuel filter, plugs, wires, etc, etc. Your car is not going to look so good with 17inch rims all bling blinging stuck on the side of the road..lol.

And to the guy that added the picture of the hatchback. I am sorry to say but that thing looks to be in sorry shape. I wouldnt be caught dead in it. Nice swap though.

Take Bob Sagget out on a date

Nah, but get that clutch taken care of quick. And maybe even upgrade your brake system (rotors, etc.)
