Well....I wrecked my car?¿?¿?
What to do now I have no idea Im just in a state of depression. Im waiting for the adjuster to call me back and tell me if it's totaled or not
I dont know what to do without my integra its like Ive lost a friend. The good thing is nobody got hurt
its better to not have my car than to have a cross on the side of the road with my name on it
. But anyways if any of you guys went through this same thing Im looking for some advise! for example, if they do total it I have alot of parts on it like headers and tanabe RM and AEM CAI should I get all my parts back and put them on a new integra or should I not take the money and just keep the car and sell the parts. I dont know nothing like this ever happend to me so any one with experience with this your advise would be very appreciated!

if they will pay you for the parts.. then take the money. if they say no. then tell them your taking the parts off the car.. have it towed to your house.. strip off only waht they wont pay for , toss your old stock oens in the car and have it towed back...
I didnt think any insurance companies paid for your aftermarket parts that you put on. I thought that they just paid for the stock retail value and thats it. Do some companies pay for aftermarket parts??? and am I able to take it home and take all my parts off then give it back??? I dont know how any of this works. All I know is that I havent signed anything yet so they cant just mail me a check and make my car dissapear!
it really depends on the insurance company.. some companies will need you to notify them in advance of whatever parts and upgrades you have and have the receipts on file so they can adjust your coverage according to things like "premium wheel coverage" "premium audio coverage" and whatever other accesssories.. other insurnace companies will cut you a check for the parts provided you can prove you had them (receipts)... and other companies will say tough luck and give you the stock value of the car w/ stock parts.. it all depends on the insurance company..
If their willing to give you money for the car and parts.. i'd take the money and get another car.. if their not willing to give you the money for the parts.. i'd take the aftermarket parts out whatevers left/salvageable that they didnt pay for (whats covered in the check is theirs.. whats not is yours..).. anyway good luck w/ your insurance ordeal and good thing your not hurt and your alive...
