Alot of people are more leaning toward either AJP boasting 376 whp rather than the greddy which I believe is in or around the 250 whp range, and that's a generous figure.

....That and some people are also waiting for more reviews and possibly more companies to make turbo's for them.

But if you want to check them out check out:

http://www.greddy.com/products...ry=15

or

http://www.ajperformance.com/p...37789

Good luck.

I only know of two, AJP and greddy.

From what I've ready, the greddy is horrible. It gives you a bit of power, but not nearly enough to justify the price of going F/I.

It depends on what your looking for,

The AJP turbo has higher boost and higher horsepower, but you can forget about ever smogging your car again. You will also stress the internals without other mods (springs, retainers, rods, ect)

The Greddy Turbo is low boost, and less gains but is CARB certified and smog legal. Pretty safe for the motor without any additional mods.

the ajp is putting out great numbers, but the greddy is CARB legal (for those that care), and the only things i wonder about is the longevity of the kit. i dont think that anyone who has it will say what the problems are. pushing that much hp on stock internals cant last forever, even with proper maintanence. if i end up going FI, i will either go with greddy or supercharger. i dont need 376whp in a car that cant put it to the ground all that well. once more suspension options become available it might be better.

why hasnt anyone with AJP turbo posted any slips saying they are running low 12's or high 11's? because with that kind of power u would think they would be runnin some awesome numbers. i remember seeing one of hte first vids the did with the white one i believe and they were running mid 13's. and that was before it was pushing out a whole lot of power wasnt it? either way just my .02

greddy = 6.4 psi ...
ajp = map cut at 8.5 psi ... so u can run anywhere from ur wastegate spring which i think is 4.5 psi to 8.5 psi.
i don't think greddy is low boost ... but it's not high boost for sure ...
u can't compare those 2 kits though ... it's kinda apples and oranges as psi levels won't tell half the story ...

You will always get better results if you build your own kit, but also more expensive. This way you know you get exactly what you want. Not tryin to highjack you thread, but how are the new Si's holding up to boost? What is everone finding to be pushing the limit with stock internals?

i haven't posted any times cuz i haven't been to the track ... maybe someone else can post some as there are quite a few people with the kit ... the conditions for running my car on the track are not to my liking especially as i'm running on a reflash ...

1. moroso is a lil over an horr away and is the closest track.
2. prior experience with moroso (without boost) was horrible and i won't waste time to go back up there.
3. i've been monitoring my car from day 1 and i refuse to go to the track until weather conditions are close to that of the day the reflash was made... this ofcourse is the biggest factor ...
4. new track just openned about 15 mins from me but is only 1/8th mile for now ... when it becomes a 1/4 i'll be sure to go there ...

getting the power to the ground is not a problem .... go tell that to the countless guys running over 400whp daily on FWD k motor vehilcle...

to the OP ... u'll need to state ur goals .... if u hell bent on turbo and want it now ... go ajp ... if u simply want forced induction but not too much then go comptech. comptech > greddy ... search the different forums for greddy related info... if u have time to play with then take a really good look at redshift
