Do you run a vented battery box?? I've heard that the battery produces some sort of gas while charging and shouldnt be in the cabin?? All of my friends don't run them I was just wondering if is that bad for you?? Any info? Thanks

 

Batteries can produce acidic gas...and yes it is bad, just get a sealed battery like Optima and it should be okay

 

yeah, it won't pass inspection unless u have a drycell battery like an optima or if you get a sealed box and vent it outside the car....but sealed boxes run for about the same price as an optima battery anyways

 

Sealed Battery is the way to go.
