I wouldn't go dirt ghetto cheap like those no name $50 joints. I've heard good things about the 1 piece 4-1 Megan and Street Imports headers. They are basically $200 ITR copies

I don't know about the ebay headers, but if you're looking for a cheap header, check out Hedmen Hedders' Chikara header. http://www.summitracing.com sells 'em for about $150, and they've worked fine for me... and they're Hedmen, so you know they're decent...

I have one on my D15B VTEC because the stock exhaust mani was cracked, it fit perfect & didn't rust or crack during the 18 month or so that I used it. I would venture to guess that I maybe got 2 whp from it, but the car did rev a bit faster. It sounds like you gain good power, but your nuts if you let your ear dictate how much hp you estimate from it. You WILL not see big gains with this, and there are lots of reports of rusting in colder environments where salt is used.

I use them on budget builds, they do rust but they do last and bolt right on

they are constructed better then DC, call BS if you like.
the stainless steel ebay headers are just fine. made in a sweat shop. ive used many different kinds, all of which lasted longer then any DC ive had.

its truth.

you all would agree if those ebay headers were $200+

Its not exactly hard to make headers, some people can make many and sell for cheap. I used to work for a company, what we did was copy designs from exspencive companys and sold them as replacments. this was for auto painting machines. i have had 4 sets of DC headers, 3 of which cracked in the same spot, DC should have done a recall a long time ago. out of the three ebay headers i have had none have broke.

I would not agree that the ebay headers have better flow though some do.
most of you just have mild bolt ons. in this case ebay headers will work just fine.

if you want a cheap quality header, go for the megan.

and there is NOTHING SPECIAL about a DC sports header, it's a $50 ebay header which just happened to get to the import market first.

if you want real gains from a header, you'll be paying at least 800 bucks. anything less may as well be purchased off ebay.

i like JSA auto, or jsc or somthing.

i like what i get from them, very clean inside the flange, unlike some other ebay headers.

the B series 4-1 i got from them was sexy as hell. however the H series one was poorly polished. hes a pic https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1754671
