its not that hard, all you need is a resistor that will drop its resistance and allow power at certain voltage. You can get them from lordco for like 40$

summit or jegs.

forgot which one.

but no need for an aftermarket tach, you can use your factory gauges with only a light.

For real, when I got my edm cluster I put a shift light in it.

My camaro has one hidden in the vents.

Shift lights are so much nicer then a huge monster tach with light.

installs are a breeze with these.

My civics is wired in the cluster but as far as mounting one somewhere I would say use Harlen, its a great part

Stock tachs arn't perfect, when your run lasts 9 secs do you want to spend a second looking down?

Yes, I had a Raptor in my last car (EP3 civic with a raised fuel cutoff), and I enjoyed it.

Before I ever got around to installing it on the CRX, I decided to give it to a friend.

I don't have to look down to see mine. The one I have came with the car, is about the size of a typical pocket flashlight, and at night it lights up the whole interior of the car when it goes off.

If you want to spend some money you can get a HUD projector, which is the whipped **** IMO. Projects the tach up onto your windshield so you don't have to look down at all. I'm not sure how well they show by day, but I have seen one car with the HUD projector at night and it looked mint. I have seen them on ebay for three or four hundred dollars.
