First time swapping B16
As it sits, i've got one major problem stopping me from finishing this swap up. I was having rough idle, weak (WEAK) power and vibration at 1k-3k RPM's. I pulled the injectors out to check them, turns out one of them is banged up pretty bad (looks like screwdriver marks?) and the pin is broken off, so it's giving me no fuel.
I'm pretty sure running on 3 cyls is the culprit of the symptoms...
I'm shopping around for injectors now (recommendations on where to get these? no junkyards around=()
and just wanted to know if the other problems i've found via searching this site are still likely?
bad ringlands
cracked/distorted piston
valvelash not adjusted right
theres no leaks or visible warp in the head, so i think thats ok. I didnt run the car much at all while trying to figure out what was wrong.
cyl 3 was the bad injector, cyls 1,2,4 had BLACK plugs, mega-gunk on them (replaced with new wires too)
cap/rotor looks/feels good, havent pressure tested yet, i've never dealt with timing, that could be an issue too?
