Default B16a into LS DC2 ?'s

i'm sorry to bother everyone, but i've came across a b16a longblock(everything minus exhuast manifold) for dirt cheap. I'm planning/searching for 2000-2001 DC2 and all i've came up with is that i'm going to have to settle for a LS.
Now, i know the LS trany will bolt up to the b16a. Now on wirring... i know the b16a OBD1 and the car OBD2. how would i resolve this? just wiring, or ECU, or both?
Anything else that would go along with the swap? Thanks

because that block has no torque! U will feel the car runs better with the stock ls block.

its a 1.6 litre come on now it cant be as good!

but in reality it has more torque. also a good thing would be to just do a ls/V with it. for the baller status and for it being a better platform for boost down the road.

dont do the swap.
b16 swaps are good for mostly hatchback civics and crx sence they are smaller

stock ls teg vs b16 teg

ls is gonna win. use the tranny or do ls vtec like everyone else said.

but i wouldnt get into ls vtec unless you have another means of transportation to use while your car is down to exchange the heads etc etc etc. its not that simple to do and i would advise taking it to a reputable shop that deals with alot of hondas. no offence but if you didnt know you shouldnt put a b16 in a teg that your probably not ready to do that kind of engine mod yourself. so yeah stick with the ls turbo or lsvtec it

ya exactly what the guy said above me either boost it or ls vtec and make sure you don't do it and have a shop do it that knows alot about hondas and make sure to get it tuned if you have the money espiclly if you get ls vtec bc u don't want to blow the engine and make sure when u get the parts u get all this for the basics Complete VTEC head B16 or GS-R, VTEC oil pump, VTEC water pump, new timing belt, new MLS head gasket, ARP head studs, all wiring modifications, a VTEC ECU (P30 or P72)

im in the same hoes. b16's suck in tq really. i believe they have a 77mm stroke. b18's are 89or87 i think.

Im aware if you have little displacement the power comes only from 1 source. being blow.

well, thats the thoery. either swap a b16 into a motorcycle, or go to this 1 source. your parents wont be thrilled.

j/k man. if you can get, power, reliability, cheap, its like a high.

I would take a B16 before an LSVTEC though even in a DC. I already chose a B16 over a B20VTEC (and I'm glad- that same B20 ran 16's in a CX hatch), and I'll do it again, over some "might be good, might not" **** like LSV/CRVTEC.</TD></TR></TABLE>

It was said before...a b16 has ZERO business in an integra...I remember the post a few weeks ago:

"Please help, my b16 integra isnt running right, seems slow...WTF is wrong??"

I rolled over laughing

Do you live in vancouver? I live in portland and have a gsr block for sale, and also gsr crank, or ls crank, and gsr rods with pistions. If you were to buy the b16, i would get a b18c1 block, buy my ls crank, put that in wiht ls rods with arp bolts, pistions of your choice and use the b16 head. Pm me if you want any of the stuff

first off, o0Jash0o, i work in a shop... and i am an avid nissan owner... i've done various nissan swaps, so i'm not the average newb.

secondly, i was wanting to know what kits are available to convert from OBD1 to OBD2.

i guess i will fork the money over for a b16 tranny too...

next, i plan on going b16b pistons .20" over, arp rod bolts, arp head studs, all new gaskets, and probably some bolt ons. and the price combined for the long block, and the rebuild/parts is barely over $1100. so tell me again, why this is a dumb swap, because i'm pretty sure that set-up will be over the whp of a stock gsr for half the price... hmm i just don't know.

Dont count on that making more whp that a stock GSR , also the GSR makes more torque and a lot more average power . B16's are all 5 grand and up , they dont belong in integras . In matter of fact in my personal opinion a B18 or B20 doesnt even belong in an integra , they shouldve came with the H22 and

Now do an H22 swap
