Well... i got new racing hart evolution wheels about 6 months ago. They have a cover that goes over the lugs with a large lug that goes on top to secure it... looks like this...


Well, one of mine got stuck... the threads were all messed up. I tried getting it off for 2 hours... then busted out the crowbar and got it off. Now it looks like this...


The pieces are all screwed up... here they are ..


Well, i think im gonna try and contact the shop i bought them from to see if i can get a replacement. Has anybody else had this happen to them. I think im gonna have to rethread the threads on the rim, because they are all messed up too. This really sucks, its not even like i put them on tight...grrrrrrrr... later

 

damn dude that's shitty. I hope the shop can hook you up with a decent price. I'm sure this happens. I just hope they don't make you buy a new rim.

yeah it happened to my friends C5's we had to take it to a shop to get it off and then buy a new piece.

 

Damn that sux man, but the shop should be able to replace that part for i would think pretty cheap.. if they try to make you pay 50+ for it tell em to **** off.. I would think like 20 - 50 for that peice.. but i could be wrong.. lets hope its cheap though!
