Okay, so tomrrow I plan on painting my clear side markers/city lights and my bumper lights amber, and I have a problem.

I peeled the markers off, and I'm wondering what I can use to repaste the side markers back onto my fenders.

They had this glue/tape on the backs, and I tried getting double-sided tape but it never held that well. Is there a paste or a glue that I can use? I'd like to use something the same quality as the OEM stuff, but I can't figure out what it is

OEM markers normally snap in, they aren't held on with adhesive. However, you can try 3M automotive trim tape.

I drive a DA if that makes a difference. These were definately held on by a double sided tape.

 

Do you have any photos? I wasn't aware that DA Integras came with side markers. Is this something you installed yourself?

 

GS and GSRs do



The original owner swapped them out for clear ones, so maybe thats why they were taped.

 

I think you're mistaken, US teg's never came with sidemarkers.

GS and GSRs came with sidemarkers...

I tried super glue, didn't hold.

Uhh no. GS/GSR's never came with sidemarkers in the US..
Also are they lit when you turn on your parking lights?

if so they are definitely after-market.

US integra's err better said,......... Acura Integra's (i think maybe minus the Australian ones) never came with sidemarkers from the factory..

 

Also all honda OE sidemarkers from the ninety's were all amber as well

May be you should use logic??
If an 02 member states multiple times that it's not true it probably isn't

Also VTEC by Honda was used in the NSX and CRX looong before the DA

my side markers are OEM type R and clip in... um idunno if ur looking for a good adhesive, u should try this double sided tape from ur local RC hobby store. its really strong. my brother uses it for his RC drift kits

 

Try 3M badging tape/glue..
It'll stick on there...
