What's the name of that thing?
I want to buy that obd-1 h22 head from a guy but he says there is a broken sensor or something like that in the head (sorry for the lack of knowledge in mechanics) he got me this picture, and I would like to know what is the name of that sensor, is it expensive to change, etc... Thank you very much!
Hard to tell from that view, take a pic of the side of the head with a arrow point to it that would make it alot easier but.. I would say it looks like the hole for the temp gauge sensor right under the dizzy. On some of the auto's the are blocked off from the factory but uses a different plug then whats shown just a guess as of right now. Its really hard to tell from that pic see what you can do about side view of the head

I agree with md23vtec, its looks like its the thermo unit in this pic (#14)

If its that its only $25 so its not that expensive.

Yeah, my thermo switch sensor broke off in the head too just trying to unscrew it
Have fun drilling and tapping that bastard out.

Yea, that is a coolant temp sensor. Part #14, it looks kind of like the sensor broke off inside the head.
